As it is posted on the band's official website, the legendary hard rock band Deep Purple are coming back to Zagreb, and the concert will be held on June 5th 2010. in Dom sportova in Zagreb.
A cult groups last visit to Croatia was three years ago, when they played in Split on Rapture of the Deep World Tour and in Zagreb back in the 2003. as part of promotional Bananas Tour.
Deep Purple is a British hard rock group formed in the 1968th in Hertford, and with Black Sabbath and Led Zeppelin are considered the originators of heavy metal and modern hard rock, and in their music are elements of classical music, blues, rock, pop and progressive rock. They sold more than one hundred million albums worldwide and once had been declared the most vocal band in the world.
The Group is undergoing significant changes to the settings, and commercially most successful setup consisted of vocalist Ian Gillan, guitarist Ritchie Blackmore, keyboardist Jon Lord, bassist Roger Glover and drummer Ian Paice.
