Shortly after his successful 2011 tour through Germany, Austria and Denmark, André Rieu is already looking forward to his next tour.
This year, the waltz king has ambitious plans again: the traditional concerts in his home town Maastricht and the concert in Amsterdam - against the backdrop of the Schönbrunn Castle (a scenery that was designed especially for Rieu's stadium concerts).
In between his live appearances, he and his orchestra will record a new CD at his Maastricht studio. Furthermore, in the course of the 2011 tour, the "Blue Danube" concert was recorded, and in the next weeks, there will be further shootings in Vienna for an upcoming TV special: "The Blue Danube" will be shown in a Eurovision show in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
André Rieu is sure to compile an exciting program for his 2012 tour. One thing is already clear: the world's most beautiful and famous waltzes will be part of the show!
