Alias Julius is Based out of Tampa Bay,Florida, USA, Her powerful voice, rhythmic guitar playing, and reflectivesongwriting have made her one of the most refreshing Americana artists toemerge in quite a while. "Fresh, young and inspiring" is what the Tampa Tribunenewspaper said about Alias's debut album in 2003 "Boondox". The album was ablend of roots rock n roll and Americana. In 2007 was the year that Aliaspaired up with guitar player and singer Jimmy James to create the compilationalbum "Two Lane Blacktop". The album featured new material showcasing Alias'sstrong song writing talent.
After building a strong local following in the USA, Alias toured the CzechRepublic in 2003. Based on that success, she hired Kennedy Music Promotionsfrom Phoenix Arizona USA , and since then has built up a touring schedule inthe following countries: Austria, Germany, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Holland,France, Scotland, and Belgium.
Accompanying Alias on this tour will be Jim Garrett and Jimmy James. JimGarrett hails from Manchester UK.. He is a tremendously talented individualcomplementing Alias's style. Jimmy James is no stranger to the stage or thepublic eye. He has played with Mike Tramp/White Lion, Bad Company and LouChristie to name just a few. Jimmy is also the band leader of the Americanchart topping band Tommy Tutone. Jimmy is proficient in many musicalinstruments and is a versatile and wonderful musician. This trio features threepart harmony, percussion, guitar, and keyboards.
